It's been a minute!

I had the opportunity to create this print for Native UW graduates last month(I know I'm late to post!)for an event called #Ravensfeast. This event was created by my teacher/mentor Marvin Oliver, back in 1976. He understood the struggles of Native people and the public education system, so when one of us graduates from a prominent university...its a big deal and so he honored them each year with his art prints. When Marvin passed, I felt the need to reach out and offer to carry on his legacy of honoring. Now, more than ever, we need to continue to honor and uplift our people for their accomplishments during such trying times. I am humbled and truly honored to gift these prints to the 2020 and 2021 Native graduates!!
