Renton High School Logo/Mascot

As an alumni and former staff of Renton High School, I was honored to be selected to help choose and design the new logo/mascot to transition the old and outdated "Indians" mascot that has been used since 1915. I helped them choose 4 different "culturally relevant" mascots that was put to a vote by Renton high current and past students, staff, faculty and community members who ultimately chose Redhawks.

The new design is using traditional Northwest Native formline art, which continues to honor the first people of Renton.
